After getting to a truce with the local authorities, Guzma is now (barely) able to live legally with the youngest kids of the team skull, balancing between jobs and his own issues. Lusamine now amnesic of the ultra wormhole incident, he is the only one left to give answers to the eather foundation, but talking about something that still keeps him awake at night is not something he wants to do. And fortunately for him, an "old friend" shows of at his doorstep one day, telling him he could help him have all answers he needs to finally end the nightmare. But the scientist, Kukui, would have to try to get Guzma's trust back after not talking for so many years... What happened between them? Why does Kukui suddently comes to try to help Guzma? That's something the white haired man wants to know under so much hate for him.

He can't believe it. He just made a friend!He feels more anxious than happy to be back and his anxiety was right. His friends replaced him with Eddie Munson. Their attention shifts from him to Jane and now that he's back at the Hawkins High he has to face Troy Walsh and his friends again. Over the next few weeks he experiences bullying again and can't handle it properly. He gets insulted and beaten up for being 'a queer' and his friends don't help as much as they used to.
One day after a particular bad beating he cleans up in the school bathroom while having a panic attack and a boy helps him.

Steve wonders how it would be to have a family, he remembers those missions where he had to play the role of someone's kid, and as fucked up as it sounds those were his fondest memories; Now he is stuck with a family that is not really his, a body of a kid burried in the backyard and a role he forced himself to play, or at least that was until a new family was introduced to him in a form of interdimensional monsters, loud children and a pair of weird adults (parents).
Basically a fic of Steve being Seven and going through all the seasons with all the implications of him being a lab kid and powers that are meant to hurt and destroy and obviously trying to hide it.
