The Void and its existence have long since remained a deep mystery, many venturing into it yet never to return no matter what precautions and experience they brought forth to bear.
Though deep desires and nullifying any other feeling would bring one far, to the deep end where a craving for discovery would ultimately lead unto extinction, into the heart of what many know so well as once having existed, yet only long ago to swallow all need to become one with the Void.
Except a certain someone sent in to rescue another would bring more than just deep desires.
UPDATE: The rewrite has begun and chapters will be posted accordingly. The last chapter is the old iteration of this fic to look back on and see what has improved, though the old iteration will mainly be its own thing and carry over very little.
